Grilled Pound Cake and Cherry Drizzle
- 1 lb. cherries
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- ½ tsp. lime juice
- 8 slices of pound cake
- Boil cherries, sugar, water and salt in medium sized saucepan. Mix ingredients until creating a syrup consistency, approximately 10 minutes. Let cool.
- Preheat grill to medium temperature.
- Mix sour cream, brown sugar, and lime juice in a bowl. Refrigerate mix until needed.
- Grill slices of pound cake, approximately 1 minute per side. Transfer slices to plates and top with cream and cherry drizzle.
