Grilled Pound Cake and Cherry Drizzle

  • 1 lb. cherries
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. lime juice
  • 8 slices of pound cake


  1. Boil cherries, sugar, water and salt in medium sized saucepan. Mix ingredients until creating a syrup consistency, approximately 10 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Preheat grill to medium temperature.
  3. Mix sour cream, brown sugar, and lime juice in a bowl. Refrigerate mix until needed.
  4. Grill slices of pound cake, approximately 1 minute per side. Transfer slices to plates and top with cream and cherry drizzle.
