  • 2 lb fish fillets
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ cup dry white wine (optional)
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup salsa any other of your choice

  1. Season the fish fillets with garlic salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet heat 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Fry fillets until they are golden, 3 to 5 minutes per side. Place on a platter and keep warm while preparing the sauce.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan clean. Add onion and parsley and saute until the onion is caramelized, about 3 minutes. Add wine and cook for 3 more minutes.
  4. Mix ketchup, sauces, and salsa to skillet.  Stir and cook for another three minutes.
  5. Dip the fish fillets with hot sauce. Serve accompanied with white rice and / or mixed salad.
