Champurrado with Almond Milk

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 3 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 2 tsp plain cocoa
  • 1 medium cinnamon stick
  • 3 oz honey
  • 1 cup nixtamal

Preparation:

  1. Mix all ingredients except nixtamal.  Mix well.
  2. Take 1 cup of mixed liquid pour into blender add nixtamal and puree.
  3. Bring liquid to a boil, lower to medium heat gradually add nixtamal mix while mixing, add to your preference of thickness.
  4. Serve hot enjoy.
