  • 2 Lbs. of Northgate Flap Steak (Carne Ranchera)
  • 2 Tbsp. McCormick Montreal Steak
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 cup of Clamato
  • ½ tsp. black pepper

Ingredients for the salsa:

  • 2 large red tomatoes
  • 6 serrano peppers
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 cup of Clamato
  • 1 ripe mango
  • Salt

Carne Asada Preparation:

  1. Season flap steak in a container with McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning
  2. In a separate container mix the juice from oranges, Clamato, and black pepper
  3. Pour mix into the container with steak and add onion slices
  4. Leave marinating for 2 hours
  5. Place on grill

Preparation for Salsa:

  1. Grill tomatoes and peppers until they soften
  2. Crush garlic clove and grilled tomatoes and peppers
  3. Add Clamato and salt
  4. Peel and finely chop one mango, add to salsa
  5. The Carne Asada and salsa can be served with white rice, grilled cactus, tortillas, and a glass of Squirt.
